Catholic Men’s Fellowship is a community of men striving to deepen our relationship with Jesus Christ and celebrating our Catholic identity through a commitment to God’s word and offering praise and thanks in worship. We regularly meet to encourage mutual support and accountability for one another in our personal transformation in Christ and in our efforts to become Christ-like influences in our homes, communities, and the world that God has called us to transform. Therefore, we gather in Christ to become better men, fathers, and husbands.

The Catholic Women’s Organization strives to bring all women of the parish together as sisters in solidarity to promote parish and family living as women of faith among the family of God here at OLPH.

Our current objectives include:

1. Promoting involvement in the Archdiocesan Council of Catholic Women (ACCW), especially attendance at the quarterly North San Fernando District meetings.
2. Involving all women parishioners, individually and collectively, in Catholic action programs of the church.
3. Promoting the first Saturday Monthly Devotions to the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of the Church, who brings us to Christ, her Son.

NFP is a way of following God’s plan for achieving and/or avoiding pregnancy. It consists of ways to achieve or to avoid pregnancy using the physical means that God has built into human nature.

NFP consists of two distinct forms:

1. Ecological breastfeeding. This is a form of child care that normally spaces babies about two years apart on the average.
2. Systematic NFP. This is a system that uses a woman’s signs of fertility to determine the fertile and infertile times of a woman’s cycle.

Couples seeking to avoid pregnancy practice chaste abstinence during the fertile time of her cycle.

What is a Retrouvaille Program?

The word RetrouvailleTM (pronounced re-tro-vi with a long i.) is a French word meaning rediscovery. The program offers tools needed to rediscover a loving marriage relationship. Thousands of couples headed for cold, unlovingrelationships or divorce have successfully overcome their marriage problems by attending the program.The Retrouvaille Program consists of a weekend experience combined with a series of 6-12 post-weekend sessions over 3 months. It provides the tools to help put your marriage in order again. The main emphasis of the program is on communication in marriage between husband and wife. It will give you the opportunity to rediscover each other and examine your lives together in a new and positive way.
